okay, but like imagine being Calum’s fiancee right? With the wedding like 2 months away, plans were getting more complicated and with both of your full schedules, he’d either get home at 2AM while you were getting the few measly hours of rest you could obtain before you get up at 6AM for work. One night, the roles would be reversed, he’d be home early waiting for you as you had to stay overtime to get files to your clients on time. Calum waiting and hoping he would see for more than just a second like he does in the morning until the next day. The t.v would be on, playing quietly in the background, bathed in the soft glow of the screen, Calum’s head would begin to nod up and down and his eyes would begin to flutter shut as he became increasingly weaker under the influence of sleep. Wanting to stay up and see his soon to be wife was proving to be more challenging then he’d assume. 

He’d catch himself when his head falls to the left and hits your pillow. He’d react quickly, jumping off the bed and running a frustrated hand through his wavy locks. “fuck” he’d mutter running his hand down his face and rolling his eyes at himself for not being able to control himself with sleep. He automatically thought of ways he could stay up. He’d begin jumping around the room, washing his face with cold water and then drinking a whole liter of soda before he sits on the bed again. Satisfied that you’d be home soon and that he’d be awake, he lies down with a successful grin on his face. You’d just get home and like usual walk to your bedroom. But today you’d be concerned because the t.v was playing but Cal would be asleep. When he texted you that he’d be awake for you so he can finally see you, you were touched at his gesture but seeing him turned into the side hugging the pillow you sleep with to his chest, just brought out a giant, exhausted grin to your face. only two more month until you were marrying him.
